There is an unwritten contract between cache owner and cache seeker. Owners, do their best to find good locations, take accurate readings and to maintain the cache. And cache seekers, do their very best to keep that cache well hidden, in that carefully chosen location, a secret.

The anouncement out today! Geowodstock VIII will be held in Carnation, Washington at Remlinger Farms!!!! It will hosted by COWWS, or Cachers of Washngton’s Wet Side, known for putting on spectacular events. Details will be forthcomming I’m sure, but for now, here’s what I know:

The GPS Adventure Maze event at Seattle’s Pacific Science Center was an eye-opening experience. I had never seen so many geocachers in one place! Even Jeremy seemed quite surprised by the turnout. My geocaching days began here along the waterfront in Long Beach California. It was here that I experienced my first puzzle cache: GC110WB – “Pi in the Sky”. What a cache!! “When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie – that’s amore!” No kidding, you will love this cache. Love to hate it while you are solving it and love it unconditionally once it’s solved!

I’ve always searched inside myself, looking for the reason that the “GeoBug” bit me so hard. It was instantaneous addiction for me. No thinking about it. No trying it out to see if I liked it. Nope. Not me. From the first description of Geocaching I read on the back of “Geocaching for Dummies”, I was hooked.
